A summery apron loafer made with the hugely popular light, airy traveller sole. This type of rubber sole was designed to provide comfort when people were travelling, but was so comfortable and durable that people wore them evenly. Wearing these shoes is a bit like walking on clouds.
A nice benefit of the sole we use here is that it has a channel that allows for a Blake stitched construction, so the shoes have better durability and can be resoled. Made in suede from the famous British tannery Charles F. Stead, their Reverse kudu suede in the light grey smoke shade. Unlined.
Small in size, see sizing guidance below. To get the best possible fit on loafers, who don't have lacing that can be adjusted, a good tip can be to use self-adhesive leather tongue pads. Works perfect if you for example experience heel slippage, and extra good if you have a low instep. Also if you have slim feet a thin leather insole can be excellent. This model also has a removable insole, which makes it easier to adjust fit or use your own inserts.
